CONGRATS: A BABY & A RING
Big news on the non-musical happenings in the life of Clive. Drummer Steve and his wife Rhiannon had their first child on February 2nd. Allegedly, Maxwell Oliver Barlow appears to have a powerful set of lungs on him. So if you're at an upcoming Clive show, give Steve some slack, he probably hasn't slept in a while.
On another congratulatory note, Clive fans at the February 17th Coffee Club show in Media, PA got more than their $5 worth... one, in particular got much much more. In the middle of the set, our bassist, Ryan Funderburg, took the opportunity to sing a song to his girlfriend, Meg... but midway through, after claiming he forgot his capo, reached into his guitar case and pulled out a ring. Now that takes guts... a proposal in front of a packed-out coffee shop! So she did say yes, and we couldn't have had a more relaxed performance from that point on. Afterall, no one's gonna remember the actual performance. February 17th, 2007 will go in the records as "that time the bassist proposed".

The old switcheroo, as vaudevillians say... Our bassist Ryan Funderburg is currently away for training for the National Guard. Meanwhile, a couple of our musically inclined friends have graciously offered to fill-in for him at our shows. So don't be surprised if you happen to see Mike Reaves or Kyle Swartzwelder pounding out the low rumbly notes in the next few months. Ryan will be back in action before you can say "Ten-Hut!".
